Amanda Weathersby, Mindful Profits
Mindful Profits Founder and The Profitable Idea Co-Leader Amanda Weathersby is a serial entrepreneur who has sold one business to a publicly traded company and one to her business partners. She has worked as a business consultant for multinational companies, for startups and for small businesses. She has taught entrepreneurship classes for ten years. Before starting her first business, she was the Vice President of Product Management and Product Development for Sprint. The Weathersby Group (TWG) was Amanda’s first venture, created in 1990. The company provided marketing consulting and staffing to high tech businesses in Washington, DC, Boston and New York. It grew to $15 million in revenue by 2000, when the company was sold to a publicly traded company. Amanda and two partners founded McKinley Marketing Partners, an interim marketing management business, and she later sold her shares to her partners. Amanda has participated in a variety of nonprofit programs. For nine years, she has created the course content, developed an online support network and taught classes on entrepreneurship for the 100 Entrepreneurs Foundation. Their mission is to provide business information, insight and inspiration to wounded veterans and their families and caregivers. Mindful Profits has provided business coaching to small businesses in a wide array of industries since 2010, providing strategic consulting, including defining new markets, products, and growth strategies, and providing coaching and tools to to help clients set growth objectives and manage to their desired results. |
Cynthia Flanders, Manage Fearlessly
The Profitable Idea Workshop Co-Leader
Cynthia Flanders is a Management and Leadership Coach and founder of Manage Fearlessly. Her clients include individuals and large organizations' CEOs and senior management. Manage Fearlessly provides advice, training and resources for new and aspiring managers and entrepreneurs and small business coaching.
Prior to founding Skipjack Partners, Ms. Flanders spent over 30 years with Bank of America and its predecessor organizations, where she held a series of positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as the Global Commercial Banking Executive for the Bank's Mid-Atlantic Region. In that role, she was responsible for the delivery of a full array of financial services to Small, Middle Market and Micro Cap Companies throughout the Mid Atlantic. Ms. Flanders oversaw eight commercial banking markets and over 80 client teams that covered 6,000 clients in South/Central New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC and Virginia.
Ms. Flanders received a BS degree from the University of Maryland, RH Smith School of Business, graduating summa cum laude, and a MBA, also from the RH Smith School of Business. She served as President of the Alumni Association from 2002 to 2003.
Ms. Flanders currently serves on the Boards of Argan, Inc. (AGX) and Congressional Bank.

Chris Santiago, Senior Financial Analyst, Capital One and Marine Corps Veteran

Chris Santiago is a senior financial analyst at Capital One. He works with the bank's financial innovation team to deepen analytical capabilities through development and implementation of automation models, machine learning models and deep learning methods.
He serves as the Treasurer and is on the Board of Directors for 100 Entrepreneurs Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and assisting returning veterans pursue their entrepreneurial and business dreams.
Chris also works with Mindful Profits, offering coaching and consulting to entrepreneurs and small business owners to help
them set business goals and forecast revenue, budgets and profitability to meet their personal and financial objectives.
He has a Master of Science in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
